The November update for WriterX is now live!

This update includes a number of new features and enhancements to help you be more productive and efficient when writing. Some of the new features include:

Design Changes

We have made some UI changes to the dashboard page. The search bar now goes to the top, freeing up the space in the centre of the screen.

The active project is now located in the sidebar menu.

We have also revamped the look and feel of the Projects page. This new way boosts the load time of the project since you will only be loading the data that you want to see and not just everything inside the project.

New Features

We have made some design changes to Canvas as well. To start with, we removed the Stats tab that used to show the word count, character count, reading score and so on.

We felt that this isn’t beneficial enough to take up such a sizeable and valuable space of Canvas, therefore, the word count is now located at the top-right side of the editor.

We have also renamed the existing Templates tab to Tools and all the templates are now located inside the tools tab.

Repurposing Content

As for the new features, we have added the ability to repurpose content inside Canvas.

To use it, all you need to do is head over to the tools tab in Canvas and click on repurpose content.

At the moment, we only allow blog to social media repurposing, but we have plans to expand it across multiple media.

Images

We have also added a feature that lets you directly import images from Unsplash(Stock Photography) and Lexica(AI Images) right inside Canvas. This will allow you to create a complete presentable blog inside of Canvas.

Other Updates

  • Fixed project handling bug that did not allow you to access your own project sometimes.
  • Improved the output quality of social media posts with significant improvements to Tweets and Instagram Captions in templates.
  • Added a Text Summarizer in templates.
  • Other small bug fixes.

Moving forward we hope to bring about many more such advancements for you.
